Empowerment does it all !!!

When one speaks about empowerment, what they mean is the increasing spiritual, political, social or economic strength of individuals and communities. It often involves the empowered developing confidence in their own capacities. Empowerment in the work place involves changing the attitudes of workers in order to make them work harder, perhaps by endowing them with greater powers & responsibilities.

The organization has the responsibility to create a work environment which helps foster the ability and desire of employees to act in an empowered way. Here, at Tulip we seek to help our employees attain empowerment in order to better perform their responsibilities and to make the environment one of joy, rather than of constant exertion. We constantly put into action several principles that help empower individuals. These include: Demonstrating our value for people through our actions and words, sharing leadership vision, goals and directions, trusting in people’s capacities, providing frequent and helpful feedback and by listening and trying to imbibe some of what our employees suggest. Besides empowering our employees as a whole, we also empower women in particular. Women are a valuable addition to any company’s taskforce and we try our level best to keep them happy and feel secure in the company.
